Over at Phlow I recently discovered “Retro-Game-Ice-Blocks”. You can do them yourself at home in your fridge. The Tetris-blocks send me thinking, just because you can build building blocks at no cost. And they are also in the third-dimension. They will melt in sun, but will be stable at minus degrees. It seems, that I will have some experimentation with them this summer.
Two days ago we finished our Cologne Commons Festival and it was really, really good. Really inspiring to day so. It made me step through the “brainbarrier” I had with this netlabel. Now things will go an after almost 3 years of sleep. I changed the subline into “Soundart from Cologne”, so it basically is not about music, but more about art. I hope you see the difference.
Next up I will post some older works, that are sleeping on my harddisk, but still are worth being shown. I am not sure about the direction it will develop, but eventually there will be opportunities to do exhibitions as well.
We uploaded two videos from Phonout from the ROM Tree EP to YouTube. Feel free to distribute, distribute, distribute or favourite it on your YouTube-accounts. The artworks used in the video from “back in the days” were made by scnclr, who is also the holder of the scnclrBleep-YouTube-account, the Phonout videos went to.
It happens, that Cologne will start out to be the hotspot for netlabels. Since the beginning of this year netlabels from Cologne started to meet (respect goes to mo. from phlow-magazine and art 2.0). We are doing regular meetings and sporadic events at the moment. Also special edits, goodies and stuff you will like. For example this virtual compilation.
